The Atomic Rooster downtown Centertown Ottawa, a relaxed, art-lined watering hole with a lineup of live music, menu of burgers, sandwiches, pizza and alot of good times.
Have a look at Atomic’s weekly specials Here, and brunch is always popular too, the menu is Here.
” Stopped in for brunch and the food and staff were incredible. They were very attentive to everyone who came in and had great conversations. It was a fun time and they made sure to make everybody feel welcome, the local art on the walls was great. We came back for the band later in the evening and enjoyed them as well. Thanks for making memories with us in Ottawa! Highly recommend this spot to anyone. ”
I love the folky atmosphere the atomic rooster gives, its full of local art, cheap drinks and live music often. Only issue is the food takes a long time to leave the kitchen, one poutine shouldn’t take over 20minutes when its not even close to busy.
A hidden gem. We very much enjoyed our brunch meals: The Limberjack and The Morning Basics along with fresh coffee.Service was excellent and prices were very competitive. We will definitely stop in on our future visits to Ottawa.
Was recommended for affordable breakfast/brunch and you get what you paid for. Grabbed our own menus and ordered the veggie bagel and club sandwich, which then took an hour to come out. The home fries were something I've never seen before mix matched slices and chunky potatoes but all somehow dry. Atmosphere is a dirty dive bar where the bathroom is a urine scented air freshener. Very unimpressed but definitely affordable.
Great service, ok food, good portions, good pricing. We tried it on a Saturday night. It was karaoke night, and $15 chicken & waffles (don’t recommend it though).Tried the following:- chicken & waffles — no flavour- fish n chips — ok- jambalaya — ok- gumbo — okThe garlic bread that came with the jambalaya was amazing.I consider it a dive bar, but if you’re looking for well priced priced food and live entertainment this place is for you.
