Retro Rides

A full-service bicycle shop located at 79 Sparks Street in downtown Ottawa, specializing in vintage and classic bicycles. Established in 2013 by owner Jason Komendat, the shop offers a curated selection of restored bikes, hard-to-find parts, and custom builds. Their services include tune-ups, overhauls, painting, powder coating, and sourcing rare components for both vintage and modern bicycles. No appointment is necessary for service, and they also provide a range of accessories and apparel.

Each bicycle sold is hand-selected and thoroughly safety-checked, receiving new tires, tubes, and brake pads as needed. Retro Rides also offers a one-year service guarantee to support your cycling experience.

The shop is co-located with the Ottawa Bike Café, a cyclist-friendly café offering locally sourced food and drinks, including coffee, craft beer, and baked goods. The café features vintage bicycles as design centerpieces and hosts various events such as live music, cycling-related workshops, and trivia nights.
