This gallery is within easy walking distance of both the Rideau Center and the Byward Market and is worth an hour or so of your time if you are visiting either of those. Featuring Canadian artists, there are three separate spaces with displays, including a gallery with paintings for sale on the first floor. As well there is a quite nice cafe. Did I mention…admission is free!

Two outdoor rooftop terraces, one approximately 2,500 square feet, and the other offering a view of the Peace Tower
A large multi-purpose room with retractable seating for 250, or standing capacity for 380

Lots of good Canadian art. Love that there's a welcoming space for outside groups to come and experience creativity. Grateful that the café has reopened. Wish there were a few lower tables to allow multiple people with mobility devices to enjoy the space together. Accessibility helps everyone.
I want to go again.I miss the long, tall hallways, the cool air, and the beautiful sights around every corner. It is truly good to visit year-round.The best part is learning more between visits so you can learn to appreciate the artwork more.
