Metro teaches guitar, theory, drums, piano, bass and beginner ukulele and mandolin. With guitars, amps and small sound systems for rent also.
Metro is the music shop that has been at 695 Bank St (in the Glebe) Ottawa, Ont. since 1960. Mostly selling guitars and are extremely proud of Canadian made lines which include Godin, Seagull, Simon & Patrick, La Patrie and Art & Lutherie, among others. Selling these guitars because they are absolutely the best value available, period. Carrying a selection of accessories, books, small sound systems, ukuleles, other musical instruments, and occasionally have some pretty cool items that they sell on consignment both musical and artisanal. Gift certificates are always available, doing some rentals and basic repairs. Music instruction is offered for guitar, bass, drums, theory and piano.
