This is an ideal place to play pool with friends while grabbing a bite and a drink. Perfectly located along a strip if you wanted to pub crawl.

Good place to shoot some pool. Good place for larger group. We just held our office Christmas party there and it was pretty good. Relaxed atmosphere. Food was actually good. And drinks were reasonably priced. Recommend!

It has been years since my last visit to MacLaren's, which is honestly a shame.

The atmosphere is very cozy, making MacLaren's an easy, safe choice for a casual gathering with friends or work colleagues.

Lots of pool tables are available, so be sure to bring your competitive spirit or your playful disposition and enjoy some pool paired with great food and drinks.

The food was extremely good! The group that I was with ordered a wide selection of finger foods, which offers a good overview of what to suggest to people. I can honestly say that everything that I sampled was better than average.

In short: a great venue for a casual get together

Things have improved a lot at McLaren since I was there last. The food was extremely good and the service was fairly good. It took a bit for anyone to acknowledge us when we first arrived (always a problem here), but once the staff stopped chatting amongst themselves and pointedly ignoring our table, things were actually pretty good. If they worked on that first impression, the place would be stellar.

The big change is the food. Everything was hot and very tasty. The presentation was good, and you could tell that whoever made the food took some pride in their work, a big change from some previous experiences.

The drinks were very good as well, again with a welcome level of attention to detail.

Awesome spot to have a drink with friends and play some billiards. The tables are at a pretty good price of $12/hr.
